What’s going on with the price of metal and other construction materials? Since the new administration took over, lets be honest, the economy crashed. Covid has taken its tool, the Suez Canal backed up cargo ships, and the price of raw materials has skyrocketed.

Currently we are experiencing a sever rise in metal prices. Since November 20th, the cost for our raw materials has doubled. Speaking to the my metal suppliers, we are being told this is going to continue through the end of the year.

So far we have maintained our current pricing structure and not raised the prices of our amazing signs. We have however been forced to stop offering discounts on shipping as before. This crises has also affected our shipping rates. UPS raised shipping prices across the board. The trickle down effect is ultimately stopping with the consumer.

We are occasionally asked by conscious buying consumers if we offer coupons or discounts. As of now we have had to stop most of these discounts in order to maintain our current pricing structure. We apologize for this, but hopefully this turns around at some point.

Our flat rate pricing on our dedicated website hdmetalworks.com, covers the price to ship a 16” sign domestically. It does not cover the shipping cost of larger signs. We are covering the cost of these additional shipping fees for now. If you interested in one of our crosses, the shipping fees are generally under $5. Contact us directly and we can provide you an alternative to pay the correct lowered shipping amount. Unfortunately, Squarespace (who host our site) does not give us the ability to accurately reflect shipping charges on the varying sized of our shipping boxes.
